Job description

Position                       : Assembly Technician
Client Location           : Cary, IL 60013
Duration                      : 18 Weeks and 4 Days
Pay rate                       : $19.50/hr on W2 without benefits
Shift Time                    : 2nd shift (04:20 PM - 12:30 AM, Mon - Fri)
 
Job Description:
Responsible for the total production process through the finished goods stage as well as for product safety and quality of goods produced.
Monitors multiple high speed automated production machines to ensure quality production standards are achieved.
Verifies correctness of components, performs quality checks visually/using inspection gauges, performs testing on assembled product, fills machine hoppers, performs record keeping using production forms and PC, loads/threads tubing onto machine, utilizes hand held scanner to perform traceability.
Up to possible 8 hours of OT based on future business need.
Steel toe shoes required.
 
Skills Required:
Must be able to lift/move up to 25 lbs., and reach above shoulder (approx. 5% of shift time).
Must be able to read, write and speak English in order to communicate and understand relevant information relating to quality/production issues.
Must possess basic math/PC skills.
