• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to understand clients' mental health needs, formulating accurate diagnoses based on established criteria.
• Design, implement, and evaluate individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that align with each client's goals and therapeutic needs.
• Facilitate individual, couples, and group counseling sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored specifically to diverse client backgrounds.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to provide holistic care and ensure compliance with treatment plans.
• Maintain meticulous client records in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.
• Engage proactively in continuous professional development through case conferences, peer supervision, and attendance at relevant workshops and seminars.

In this role, you will work with a varied clientele ranging from adolescents struggling with anxiety and depression to adults facing severe stressors such as trauma and addiction. • A current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York.
• A Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic practices, showcasing capability in techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to efficiently document client interactions and treatment plans.
• Previous involvement in crisis intervention and management, showcasing ability to assist clients in acute distress.
