Carpentry Helper Jobs in Minnesota (NOW HIRING)

Description:

You will be on a new-build construction site assisting carpenters with Tyvek wrap and exterior windows and doors.

They will be assisting the JM carpenters on-site with whatever tasks are needed for that day. Primarily, they will be working at heights, but the client provides safety talks and fall protection when working higher up in the air.

Qualifications:

•Must Have

o6+ months of construction or general labor experience

o6+ months experience working on ladders and aware of basic ladder safety.

oNeed to lift 75lbs routinely on the job.

oNeed to have basic hand tools: hammer, square, tape measure, and utility knife

oNeed to have a tool belt-they had someone show up with their tools in a plastic bag which does not work.

•Preferred

oHigh school Diploma

oSome trade school experience 

oAbility to carry 75 lbs.

oAbility to carry 36-foot extension ladder

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waverly, MN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
