Job description

At Blue Water Design Build, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality construction and remodeling services. Our team is dedicated to creating spaces that reflect our clients' vision while maintaining a commitment to safety and excellence.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced carpenter to manage our crew carpenters and work with our project manager with subcontractors, and vendors. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in orchestrating all aspects of our job sites, ensuring efficient project execution and maintaining strong relationships with clients and team members. Applicant must have 3-5 years experience running more than one job site at a time.
Key Responsibilities:
3-5+ years of carpentry experience, finish carpentry skills is preferred as well.
• Provide own tools (hand and power) that is customary for a Journey Level Carpenter
• Proficient with operating power tools safely
• Knowledgeable at reading plans and blueprints
• Thorough knowledge of all construction trades and the ability to supervise and manage all construction trades.
• Proficient with time management and scheduling
• Strong leadership ability with crew and eager to train
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written), Spanish is a bonus
• Ability to work well on a team and individually
• Must hold a valid Washington state driver’s license, along with good driving record.
• Reliable transportation
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and understanding of general remodel carpentry and techniques.
- Willingness to work across all phases of a remodel, from demolition to the finishing phase.
- Good driving record and reliable transportation.
- Must possess personal tools (cordless drills/saws, nail bags, hand tools, compressor, etc.).
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing, walking, and sitting.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds regularly, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
