Carpenter

Our Carpenter role focuses on rebuilding, repairing, and restoring residential and commercial structures that have suffered damage from disasters like fires, floods, storms, or mold growth. It combines structural demolition, rough and finish carpentry, drywall installation, and project coordination.
     
Demolition & Safety
  • Working safely in hazardous environments (mold, water damage, fire soot).
  • Using hand and power tools to remove damaged walls, flooring, and frameworks.
  • Helping with emergency board-ups and tarping roofs to prevent further property damage.
Carpentry & Reconstruction
  • Inspecting damaged frameworks and building new walls, floors, and doorframes.
  • Measuring, cutting, and shaping wood and other building materials.
  • Installing, taping, and completing drywall projects.
  • Completing specific, detailed repair tasks to finalize a job.
Logistics & Administrative
  • Recording hours worked and coding them accurately to specific jobs.
  • Completing projects within a defined budget and timeline.
  • Cleaning sites, unloading trash, and keeping tools/vehicles organized.
  • Traveling to multiple job sites per day as needed.
Communication & Compliance
  • Communicating job progress directly to Estimators, Project Directors, and Production Managers.
  • Checking work continuously to ensure it meets local building codes and strict project specifications.
Required Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED required 
  • 5 plus years’ experience in the construction/repair industry as a Tradesman/Carpenter 
Preferred Education and Experience: 
  • 5 plus years’ experience in finish carpentry work 
  • 5 plus years experience in drywall/mudding
 Physical Requirement
  • Must be able to stay in a stationary position up to 25% of the time within a vehicle.
  • Constantly moves about job sites
  • Constantly positions self to move about job sites stairs, walkways, roofs, crawl spaces
  • Occasionally ascends and descends a ladder to complete jobs 
  • Must be able to communicate and converse with customers and internal employees over the phone and face to face 
  • Frequently will lift up to 60lbs.
  • Ability to safely operate a company vehicle
