Part-Time Pediatric Staff Physician - Cardinal Kids at Carolina Caring (Charlotte, NC)
Cardinal Kids at Carolina Caring invites a compassionate and skilled Medical Doctor to join our award-winning team and support our vital mission. In this pivotal role, you'll provide essential physician services, directly impacting the quality of life for pediatric patients within our hospice and palliative medicine programs.
This part-time position is 20 hours per week. You will oversee Nurse Practitioners and collaborate closely with our interdisciplinary care teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
Part-time positions offer a competitive benefit package, including paid time off and mileage reimbursement.
Requirements
Education:
A Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy with a current, unrestricted license to practice medicine under the provisions of the North Carolina Board of Medicine. Board certified in a medical specialty which includes the care of terminally ill patients is preferred. Certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine within two years of employment is preferred.
Experience:
Member in good standing on the medical staff of hospitals in Carolina Caring's service area. Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy with five years of clinical experience beyond board certification. One year of experience working as a part of an interdisciplinary team preferred. Management and leadership experience preferred.
