Caring Connections Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our remote practice in Los Angeles, California. • Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Engage in regular therapeutic sessions with clients, providing evidence-based interventions tailored to their specific needs.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other relevant techniques.
• Identify and implement crisis intervention strategies when necessary, ensuring client safety and support.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of each client's progress in our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your therapeutic skills and knowledge of best practices in mental health.

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing conditions such as anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), eating disorders, and substance use issues. Your ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds, cultural contexts, and life experiences will be instrumental in fostering meaningful therapeutic relationships and improving patient outcomes.

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid state license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW.
• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience providing direct therapeutic services.
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Ability to deliver culturally responsive therapy, demonstrating sensitivity to the needs of diverse populations.
• Effective crisis intervention skills and the ability to remain composed in high-stress situations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with proven skills in building collaborative relationships with clients and colleagues.

• Experience with telehealth platforms and techniques for delivering therapy in a virtual setting.
• Knowledge of integrating technological tools to enhance therapy and client engagement.
• Familiarity with various assessment tools to evaluate clients' progress and outcomes.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
