Job Summary

The Cargo Express Office Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operations of the cargo office, ensuring the efficient handling, documentation, and dispatch of shipments. This role involves supervising office staff, coordinating with warehouse, and transportation teams, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with company/customer policies and regulatory requirements.

The expected pay rate is $29.75/hour. Full-time employees are offered a range of health and wellness benefits as well as 401(k) with company match paid vacation time, sick time, and company paid holidays. 

 

Your activities

  • Supervise and coordinate office staff, handling of cargo documentation, billing, and customer service
  • Ensuring timely processing of inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Liaise with warehouse and ramp teams, drivers, and external partners to coordinate cargo movement.
  • Responsible for accurate service capturing of operational activities relevant for invoicing and completing flight/task reports as per company procedure.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with customs, transport, and safety regulations.
  • Oversee preparation and verification of shipping documents (e.g., bills of lading, airway bills, invoices).
  • Generate and review daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
  • Training, coaching and coordinating the office team assigned.
  • Assist with audits and ensure proper record-keeping for regulatory and company standards.
  • Recommend improvements to increase efficiency and service quality.
  • Ensure compliance with all Operating Procedures (SOP, LOP, SW), including Station Safety Rules and supervise Emergency Procedures during their shift in the area under their supervision.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • 5 years' operational experience in ground handling, cargo, or aircraft fueling services.
  • Excellent working knowledge of proper safety practices, procedural compliance, and operations delivery
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft suite of programs, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
  • Ability to learn cloud-based operations tools
  • Ability to coach and motivate teams to deliver high quality standards.
  • Ability to resolve problems with a focus on excellent customer service.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive, professional, work relationships with teams and management
