Job Description
The Truck Loader/Spotter is responsible for laying out loads, making sure loads follow weight restrictions, strapping and securing the loads, and tarping or closing up the trucks. The Truck Loader may be responsible for operating a tractor trailer or other specialized truck/vehicle that transports cargo to and from specified destinations. Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick-up of goods to ensure timely service. Loads and secures and unloads cargo. Assist with duties within the warehouse as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Three plus years' experience working around flatbed tractor trailers or other specialized trucks/vehicles.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Familiarity with computers.
  • Prior steel industry and product knowledge preferred.
  • Prior experience driving a semi tractor trailer required.
  • Class A CDL Driver's License Endorsement required.
