This position is responsible for the safe and timely transport of goods locally. You will ensure timely delivery while adhering to all company standards and traffic laws. This is a physically demanding role that requires strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
Key responsibilities:
Driving Operations: Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goodsRoute Planning and Navigation: Follow designated routes using GPS or maps to reach destinations efficiently.Loading and unloading cargo: Assist with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.Pre-trip inspections: Perform routine vehicle checks and overall mechanical condition and reporting to appropriate personnelCustomer Service: Interact with customers in a professional mannerCompliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies regarding driving and vehicle operationQualifications:
