POSITION PURPOSE

Mountain Air Cargo (MAC) is a FedEx Feeder carrier providing reliable and safe cargo service throughout the Eastern United States, Bahamas, and Caribbean markets. We operate a fleet of the Cessna 208 Caravan, C408 SkyCourier, ATR42-600, and ATR72 aircraft.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Operate aircraft in accordance with flight manuals and the Company Operations Manual
  • Calculate weight and balance
  • Supervise the loading and unloading of cargo
  • Assist the Captain in flight planning and maintain positive employee and customer relations
  • Ensure accuracy of all required paperwork

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Commercial or Restricted Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate — Multi-Engine Land
  • ATP-CTP course provided for new hires
  • First Class Medical Certificate
  • Current U.S. Passport
  • U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Work Authorization required
  • 1,500 hours Total Time (or RATP minimums as applicable)
  • 500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC)
  • 50 hours Multi-Engine Land (MEL)

SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS

This position is designated safety-sensitive under FAA regulations. As a condition of employment, all candidates who receive a conditional offer must successfully complete pre-employment drug testing prior to their start date. In accordance with FAA regulations (14 CFR Part 120) and DOT Transportation Workplace Drug Testing procedures (49 CFR Part 40), testing includes screening for the following substances: marijuana (THC), cocaine, amphetamines (including methamphetamine and MDMA), opioids (including codeine, morphine, hydrocodone, hydromorphone, oxycodone, and oxymorphone), and phencyclidine (PCP).

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to obtain an ATR Type Rating

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL EFFORT

  • Continuous mental and visual attention required
  • Subject to pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations
  • Work environment includes exposure to outdoor ramp conditions and in-aircraft operations
