Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA) to join our clinical team in the Pittsburgh market. This role will support CarePath's growing presence in the region, with the position becoming more locally focused over time as patient volume and clinic staffing stabilize.

The ideal candidate is clinically strong, adaptable, and comfortable working in an injury-focused care environment, with an interest in multidisciplinary collaboration.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform patient evaluations, follow-ups, and ongoing treatment under supervising physician guidelines
  • Conduct physical exams and injury assessments
  • Develop and manage treatment plans for work-related, motor vehicle, and personal injury patients
  • Document clinical encounters accurately and timely in the EMR
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and care teams
  • Communicate effectively with internal staff and external stakeholders as needed
  • Adhere to all clinical, compliance, and documentation standards


Schedule & Travel Expectations

Standard MondayFriday schedule
Regional travel to nearby CarePath locations may be required as the Pittsburgh presence develops


Qualifications

  • Licensed Physician Assistant (PA-C) in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Active DEA license (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to commute daily to our location(s)
  • Injury care, orthopedics, PM&R, or occupational health experience preferred (but not required); motivated new grads welcomed


Compensation & Benefits

Competitive base salaried compensation: $115,000 $130,000, based on experience
Healthcare stipend after 90-day introductory period
Paid Time Off (PTO) and sick time package after 90-day introductory period
