As an Area Director of Business Development, you drive referral growth and market expansion across your assigned region, positioning Sunrise as the preferred senior living provider.
What You'll Do:
• Identify and cultivate professional referral sources across healthcare and community organizations
• Develop and execute market-based business development strategies
• Build strong relationships with nonpaid and paid referral partners
• Partner with Executive Directors and Sales leaders to grow occupancy
• Coach and mentor Directors of Sales on outreach best practices
• Coordinate trade shows, networking events, and professional presentations
• Develop account plans and track referral activity in CRM systems
• Monitor budgets and ensure compliance with admissions regulations
• Stay current on industry trends and competitive market activity
You strengthen Sunrise's market presence while generating qualified leads that support community growth.
What We're Looking For:
• 3-5 years of consultative B2B sales or healthcare business development experience
• Proven success in account management and referral growth
• Strong coaching and collaboration skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Pay Range:
56,800.00 - 87,400.00
