Job description

Relationship Development CoordinatorBuild Relationships. Change Lives. Grow Your Career.

HumanEdge Healthcare Staffing | Newtown, CT

Now Hiring: 3 Relationship Development CoordinatorsAre you the person everyone enjoys talking to?

If you're a natural relationship builder with high energy, confidence, and exceptional communication skills, this could be the career you've been looking for.

This is a phone-first relationship-building role. A significant portion of your day will be spent speaking with healthcare professionals, qualifying candidates, and referring them to senior members of our recruiting team. As you develop your skills and gain experience, you'll advance into a full-cycle role where you'll build relationships with both candidates and healthcare clients.

Success in this position comes from genuinely enjoying conversations, building trust, and creating lasting relationships. If you thrive on engaging people by phone and believe every conversation is an opportunity to make a meaningful connection, you'll excel here.

Please note: While texting and email are valuable tools, they are intended to support—not replace—live conversations. If your preferred method of building relationships is primarily through SMS or email rather than speaking with people by phone, this position is unlikely to be the right fit.

At HumanEdge Healthcare Staffing, we believe great relationships are built one conversation at a time.

What You'll Do
  • Engage healthcare professionals by phone to build lasting relationships.

  • Qualify candidates through detailed conversations to understand their experience, goals, and career interests.

  • Present qualified candidates to senior recruiters for open healthcare opportunities.

  • Maintain consistent follow-up with candidates throughout the recruiting process.

  • Develop trust through professionalism, active listening, and excellent communication.

  • Accurately document candidate interactions in our applicant tracking system.

  • Learn the healthcare staffing industry from experienced recruiting professionals.

  • Advance into client-facing responsibilities and full-cycle recruiting as your skills and performance grow.

QualificationsRequired
  • Bachelor's Degree required.

  • Outstanding verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Confident and professional telephone presence.

  • High energy with a positive, outgoing personality.

  • Strong work ethic and desire to build a long-term career.

  • Organized with excellent time-management skills.

  • Comfortable making outbound calls throughout the day.

Preferred
  • 1+ year of healthcare recruiting or healthcare staffing experience.

  • Experience in recruiting, staffing, sales, customer service, hospitality, admissions, or another relationship-focused role.

  • Experience working toward goals or performance metrics.

What Makes You Successful
  • You genuinely enjoy talking with people.

  • You build rapport quickly and make others feel comfortable.

  • You are naturally curious and ask thoughtful questions.

  • You are resilient, coachable, and eager to learn.

  • You stay positive, even when conversations don't lead to immediate results.

  • You understand that every phone call is an opportunity to help someone advance their career.

What We Offer
  • Competitive base salary.

  • Performance-based incentive opportunities.

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.

  • Paid Time Off (PTO).

  • Paid holidays.

  • 401(k) with company match (where applicable).

  • Comprehensive onboarding and hands-on training.

  • Mentorship from experienced healthcare staffing professionals.

  • Clear career advancement into Senior Recruiter and client-facing recruiting roles.

  • Collaborative, team-oriented culture that celebrates success.

Why HumanEdge?

At HumanEdge Healthcare Staffing, we don't simply fill jobs—we build careers, strengthen healthcare organizations, and create lasting professional relationships. You'll receive the training, mentorship, and support needed to grow into a successful healthcare recruiting professional while making a meaningful impact every day.
