This is more than a traditional management role. As the Director of Growth & Business Development, you will be responsible for driving business growth, expanding referral partnerships, leading office performance, and delivering an exceptional experience for clients and caregivers alike.

Working alongside our Director of Operations and executive leadership team, you'll have the autonomy, support, and resources to make a measurable impact while helping families receive the compassionate care they deserve.

What You'll DoDrive Business Growth
  • Develop and execute strategic business development initiatives to grow referrals, admissions, and revenue.

  • Build strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, rehabilitation facilities, senior living communities, case managers, social workers, and other referral partners.

  • Identify new opportunities to expand market presence and strengthen community partnerships.

  • Represent CareBuilders at Home throughout the community as a trusted resource for home care services.

Support Office Performance
  • Provide day-to-day leadership for the Friendswood office while fostering a culture of accountability, urgency, and excellence.

  • Coach, mentor, and develop office staff to achieve individual and team performance goals.

  • Monitor key performance indicators including referrals, admissions, revenue, client satisfaction, caregiver retention, and profitability.

  • Lead regular team meetings focused on performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Deliver an Exceptional Client Experience
  • Ensure every client and family receives outstanding service from the initial inquiry through ongoing care.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, caregivers, and referral partners.

  • Quickly resolve concerns while maintaining the highest standards of service and professionalism.

Build High-Performing Teams
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain outstanding caregivers and office staff.

  • Foster a positive, collaborative culture centered on accountability, compassion, and continuous development.

  • Support ongoing education and professional growth for team members.

Financial & Operational Leadership
  • Assist in managing office financial performance, budgets, and profitability.

  • Analyze business trends and develop strategies to improve operational efficiency and revenue growth.

  • Partner closely with the Director of Operations to ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

  • Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a results-oriented leader with a proven history of growing businesses, developing teams, and building lasting relationships.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent leadership experience.

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in home care, home health, hospice, healthcare services, senior living, staffing, or another service-based industry.

  • Demonstrated success in sales, business development, or growing service-based organizations.

  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities with experience managing teams.

  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and networking skills.

  • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and business performance.

  • Highly organized with exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for achieving results.
