Job description

Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray

Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, health care facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities. Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital or computed radiography equipment and submit them to a Radiologist for interpretation. Unload portable X-Ray equipment and take it into facilities to perform exams ordered by the physician. Must obtain clinically diagnostic and technically competent X-ray images. Perform EKGs as needed and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation if required. Scan exam-related paperwork on a daily basis per protocol. Regularly communicate with dispatch and management. Communicate efficiently and interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients. Maintain vehicle and X-ray equipment. The physical demands may include pushing and pulling weights ranging from 50 to 100 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Radiologic Technologists may exert 50 lbs of force or more multiple times a day.
