A Care Partner II is a healthcare support professional who assists nurses and other medical staff in providing direct care to patients, often in hospitals or long-term care facilities. Their responsibilities typically include helping patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility, taking vital signs, assisting with feeding, and maintaining patient comfort and safety. They may also help with basic medical procedures under supervision and provide emotional support to patients and their families. The 'II' designation usually indicates a second-level or more experienced care partner, sometimes with additional duties or certifications compared to entry-level roles.

To thrive as a Care Partner II, you need a solid understanding of basic patient care, vital signs monitoring, and assistance with activities of daily living, typically supported by a high school diploma and completion of a certified nursing assistant (CNA) program.
