• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health requirements. This entails utilizing standardized tools and documenting findings to create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Provide therapy services to individuals, families, and groups utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused techniques, depending on client needs and preferences.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary professionals, including case managers and psychiatrists, to coordinate holistic care aimed at improving patient outcomes.
• Respond promptly to crisis situations, providing emotional support and intervention when clients are in acute distress, ensuring their safety and immediate needs are addressed.
• Engage actively in community outreach efforts, including workshops and seminars, to enhance mental health awareness and reduce stigma associated with seeking help.

Our diverse client population encompasses individuals from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds, reflecting the rich community fabric of El Paso. Therapists are encouraged to leverage their cultural competencies to build strong therapeutic relationships that lead to meaningful and effective interventions.

• An independent and active license in one of the following fields is required: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is mandatory.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to form empathetic and trusting relationships with clients.
• Proven cultural competence and sensitivity, enabling effective service delivery to a wide array of clients.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, facilitating accurate and timely documentation of client encounters.

• Prior experience in community mental health or a similar clinical setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure efficient and streamlined documentation.
• Track record of successful collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to enhance client care.
