Job description

Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Shift (6:30 AM – 6:00 PM)/ Night Shift (6.30pm to 6;00am)
Schedule: 36-hour weekly 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team for a 13-week contract assignment. The CNA will provide essential patient care and support nursing staff to ensure a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for all residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.

  • Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.

  • Provide mobility support by helping residents move safely between beds, chairs, and wheelchairs.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.

  • Communicate effectively with nurses, residents, and family members to ensure continuity of care.

  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment for residents and staff.

  • Observe and report any changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to the nursing staff.

  • Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies and procedures at all times.

Qualifications:
  • Current and active CNA certification in good standing.

  • Current BLS/CPR certification (as required by facility standards).

  • Minimum of 1 year of recent CNA experience preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a strong work ethic.
