Job description

Pay Range:
$35.92 - $53.88
A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
Cardiovascular Invasive Technologists in electrophysiology assist physicians in performing multiple procedures including ablations, pacemaker implants, and structural heart procedures. Cardiovascular Invasive Technologists assist the physicians by managing fluoroscopy and radiologic equipment, maintaining sterile technique, passing instruments and catheters, and monitoring patients.
Position Specifics:
o Imaging Focus: Cath Lab
o Core Function: Imaging
o Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week, Days
o Facility: St. Elizabeth's Hospital
o Location: O'Fallon, IL
o Sign On: $15,000
o Compensation aligned with your experience
We are hiring Level I and Level II Cardiovascular Technologists as well. Placing and pay depends on meeting the requirements.

Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist III
Education
  • Associates degree in radiologic technology, allied health, applied science or completion of certificate/training program is required.

Experience
  • 4 years of experience working in a cath lab or special procedures radiologic technologist role is required.
  • Cross-trained and able to rotate to perform at least four (4) functional skill sets as delegated in any diagnostic or interventional case
  • type performed.

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations
  • Licensed Radiographer in the state of practice is required.
  • Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
  • Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) certification from ARRT OR certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.

Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist II
Education Qualifications
  • Associates degree in radiologic technology, allied health, applied science or completion of certificate/training program is required.

Experience Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience working in a cath lab or special procedures radiologic technologist role is required.
  • Cross-trained and able to rotate to perform at least three (3) functional skill sets as delegated in any diagnostic or interventional case type performed.

  • Licensed Radiographer in the state of practice is required.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required or obtained within 6 months of hire.
