Job description

Overview: Provides appropriate patient care in Cardiac Cath Lab. Circulates, scrubs, and records diagnostic and interventional procedures for adult interventional, heart failure, and pulmonary services. Operates appropriate medical equipment and software and interacts professionally with customers and staff. Qualifications: Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: AS Degree from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Program OR AS Degree from accredited Radiologic Technologist Program. Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose Licensure/Certification/Registration: If incumbent/candidate has an AS Degree from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Program, must be credentialed by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS). If incumbent/candidate has an AS Degree from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program, must possess the Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI), Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) or Radiography (R) Registration Category issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). The CI registration is the preferred registration. Current ACLS/BLS.
