Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with previous cardiovascular cath lab experience for a 13-week acute care assignment in Dodge City, KS.

Details
  • Acute care cardiac cath lab setting with 1 suite
  • Average of 2–3 cases per day
  • Cardiovascular patient population
  • 4x10 hour day shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with 24/7 rotated call responsibilities
  • Call response time of 30 minutes required
  • Rotating weeknight, weekend, and holiday call coverage
  • Epic EMR; GE imaging and hemodynamic monitoring systems used
  • Work scope includes the cath lab, pre/post area, and OR for cath lab cases — no floating outside of these areas
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of previous cath lab experience in cardiovascular settings
  • Active BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications required — pending certifications not accepted
  • ARRT (R) certification required
  • Active KS state license required — pending licenses not accepted; license required if applicable
  • Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility; a valid driver's license is required to confirm permanent address
  • 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
Additional Information
  • Responsibilities include scrubbing and monitoring cardiovascular cath lab cases
  • Team currently consists of 2 techs in addition to this travel role, overseen by a cross-campus director
  • Hospital-laundered scrubs provided
  • Orientation is approximately 12 hours and covers the cath lab, pre/post, and OR; candidate must be on-site for the full week of orientation even if initial modules are completed remotely
  • Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates placed PRN through outside firms will be considered
