The hospital offers advanced cardiovascular care, including one of the largest open-heart programs in Florida. The American College of Cardiology has recognized UF Health Leesburg Hospital’s expertise and commitment to treating patients with chest pain by awarding Chest Pain Center Accreditation with Primacy PCI and Resuscitation—its highest level of accreditation.

In addition, the hospital provides world-class orthopedics, minimally invasive robotic surgery, life-saving emergency care, stroke treatment, labor & delivery, and a wide range of other services.

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Manager who is committed to collaboration, excellence, and patient-centered care. The manager will oversee the operations of the CVOR, Cardiovascular Cath Labs, and Cardiac Diagnostic services.

They will oversee the daily operations and management of the Cardiovascular Cath Labs and Cardio Diagnostics. Establishes and maintains the highest possible standards and excellent public relations with all physicians, patients, visitors and hospital team members. Responsible for budgetary controls and productivity targets. Possesses full knowledge of pertinent regulatory guidelines, standards of care, and policies & procedures. Utilizes evidenced-based medicine to achieve quality, safety and cost-effective delivery of care. Selects professional management staff. Coordinates inter-departmental professional activities and acts as a resource person to staff and management. Assumes financial responsibility for department.


Qualifications

Education: 

  • Bachelor's Degree Required Licensure/Certification/Registration: Either RN, Certified Critical Care RN (CCRN) or Advanced Practice Healthcare Professional holding RCVT required 
  • BCLS, ACLS required

Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training:

  • Clinically experienced in the areas of administrative responsibility and competent in the application of management principles and decision making that have an impact on the scope of practice and the laboratory environment 
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

Experience Required:

  • 1-3 years leadership level experience in Cardiovascular Services
