7 on 7 Off Day Shift or Traditional Monday-Friday Options| New grads welcome | Inverness, FL | CVAUSA partner practice
Citrus Cardiology Consultants is hiring two Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join our cardiovascular team in Inverness, FL. We have two distinct positions available - one combining outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital cardiology, and one hospital-only role with a 7-on/7-off daytime schedule. New NP and PA graduates with a strong interest in cardiovascular medicine are encouraged to apply for either role. Citrus Cardiology is a partner practice of Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA).
Position 1 - Outpatient + Inpatient Cardiology APP
• Combination of outpatient clinic visits and inpatient hospital rounding
• Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions
• Conduct follow-up visits, consults, new patient evaluations, and patient education
• Order and interpret EKGs, labs, imaging, and stress tests
• Collaborate with cardiologists on treatment planning and ongoing care
• Monday-Friday primary schedule
Position 2 - Hospital-Based Cardiology APP
7 days on / 7 days off - daytime hours, no outpatient clinic
• Inpatient-only cardiology role - no outpatient clinic responsibilities
• Hospital rounding and cardiovascular patient management
• Cardiovascular consults and inpatient care coordination
• Ideal for providers who prefer a predictable block schedule with extended time off
• Strong support from attending cardiologists throughout each shift
Qualifications - both positions
• Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active Florida license or actively in the process of obtaining
• Cardiology or acute care experience preferred - not required
• New NP and PA graduates with genuine interest in cardiovascular medicine welcome
• Strong communicator, team player, patient-focused
