Job description

We are seeking a skilled and trained Interventional Pain Management Physician to join our team at Quantum Pain and Orthopedic in San Antonio, Texas. As a provider of pain management services, you will join a large group with a high volume of referrals. We are dedicated to helping patients find relief from chronic pain and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients with acute and chronic pain conditions
  • Develop individualized treatment plans using a variety of interventional pain management techniques, such as peripheral nerve blocks, epidural steroid injections, bursa injections, joint injections, kyphoplasty, pulsed radiofrequency, vertebroplasty, and more.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including mid-levels, spine surgeons, and Orthopedic Extremity surgeons to provide holistic care for patients
  • Support staff available including NP/PA's, MA's, and scribe team
  • See patients in a timely and efficient manner, stay reasonably on time for scheduled appointments in practice throughout the day, unless exceptional circumstances occur
  • Travels as necessary between our San Antonio North and South locations.
  • No call Schedules
  • High volume of referrals per month

Requirements:

  • Must be ABA Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesia or Physical Medicine amp; Rehab
  • Must be ABA Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Pain Management
  • Fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management with ACGME or Accredited fellowship
  • Valid Texas state medical license
  • New graduates are welcome to apply
  • Working schedule Monday - Friday
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
