Responsibilities

Cardiology Stress Lab Nurse specializes in the care and management of pre- and post non-invasive cardiology procedures of adult and geriatric patients. The nurse will also monitor and participate in treatments for patients undergoing stress tests, cardioversions and transesophogeal echocardiograms. Observes electrocardiograph for rhythm changes. Monitors blood pressure and observes for patient adverse reactions to procedures.

Shift: 4x10s or 5x8s day shift and every 3rd weekend. Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
  • Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
  • KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:

  • BSN degree
  • Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
  • Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
  • Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
  • Work Hours:0600-1630Weekend Requirements:Yes- Rotating BasisEmployment Type: FULL_TIME
