Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist for a locum tenens opportunity at a regional medical center in central Nebraska .

Coverage Dates: September , 2026 (assignment concludes at 7:00 AM on September 28 )

This assignment offers a mix of inpatient care, interventional procedures, STEMI call, and the option to see patients in clinic when not covering the inpatient service.

Opportunity Highlights
  • Locum assignment with potential for ongoing coverage
  • Epic EMR
  • APP and hospitalist support
  • Established interventional cardiology program
  • Optional weekday outpatient clinic
Responsibilities
  • Provide inpatient cardiology coverage, including rounding and STEMI call
  • Perform cardiac catheterization and other interventional procedures
  • Interpret echocardiograms
Qualifications
  • Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
  • Nebraska medical license or active Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) preferred
