Job description

Cardinal is looking for candidates to join the Production Department at our Decatur manufacturing facility. This is an entry level position, and all required training will be provided. Successful applicants will learn how to produce liquid and powder coatings for a variety of applications.

Responsibilities:

• Safely prepare and operate the appropriate machinery
• Follow formula instructions
• Learn how to put together raw materials
• Ensure that bonding and grounding rules are followed
• Label containers in the correct manner
• Fill solvent containers when necessary
• Operate a forklift
• Keep the workspace clean and tidy
• Other duties deemed appropriate by the Production Supervisor

Requirements:

• Ability to work closely with others
• Basic verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift 50-55lbs repeatedly
• Must be flexible with the ability to work various shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed
• Follow instructions from supervisory personnel
• Follow company safety policies and practices
