Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 2+ years of scrub tech experience and RCIS certification for a 13-week acute care assignment.

Details
  • Acute care setting within a Cardiac Cath Lab unit with 3 procedure rooms
  • 8:00a-4:30p day shift schedule
  • Call required 1-2 times per week and every 4th weekend
  • Late team coverage required 1-2 times per week for procedures running past shift end
  • Uses Epic charting system
  • Equipment includes MacLab, ACIST injector, CSI, Laser, Shockwave, balloon pumps, temporary pacemakers, Impella devices, and Carto
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years scrub tech/sterile technique experience required
  • Experience with vascular, coronary, and device implant procedures required
  • EP procedure experience preferred
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required
  • RCIS certification via CCI required, RCES also considered
  • ARRT or CRT certification considered if cross-trained to scrub
  • License required if applicable
Additional Information
  • Assist physicians with heart catheterization procedures, peripheral interventions, pacemaker placements, and ablations
  • Monitor patient vitals and perform charting during procedures
  • Facility-issued scrubs provided
  • Unit-specific training and orientation details discussed during interview
