Zurich is currently looking for a to join our Rural Community Insurance Services (RCIS) team. RCIS is one of the leading crop insurance providers in the U.S. RCIS offers insurance protection in all 50 states through a national network of about 3,600 licensed agents. RCIS offers a wide range of private product coverages, including a diverse selection of named-peril options, supplemental and stand-alone insurance products as well as federal crop insurance plans through the United States Department of Agriculture's Risk Management Agency. Together with RCIS agents, we protect America's farmers and ranchers.
The Business Change Lead will play a key leadership role in designing and delivering strategic initiatives that enhance operational performance, enable growth, and drive innovation across the business. This role requires a strong background in Information Technology (IT) and in Crop insurance, Mobile apps, GIS mapping development, and systems integration
You will lead cross-functional transformation initiatives, support operational planning and performance reviews, and help build the platforms, processes, and capabilities required to achieve the company's strategic goals.

  • Lead and execute initiatives aligned with enterprise priorities and long-term goals.
  • Jointly with the head of market execution drive the implementation of ease of doing business for our agents supported by technology
  • Identify opportunities to optimize our business model, systems, tools, and service delivery.
  • Partner with Product, Technology, and Operations teams to align platform capabilities with business strategy.
  • Influence and collaborate with cross-functional leaders to drive execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of change leadership, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications
โ€ข Bachelors Degree and 7 or more years of experience in the Claims, Consulting, Risk Engineering or Underwriting area
OR
โ€ข High School Diploma or Equivalent and 9 or more years of experience in the Claims, Consulting, Risk Engineering or Underwriting area
OR
โ€ข Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice, including an Associate Degree and 7 or more years of experience in the Claims, Consulting, Risk Engineering or Underwriting area
AND
โ€ข Experience in Organizational Effectiveness or Change Management
โ€ข Experience in the application of existing and/or change management methodologies and tools
โ€ข Project management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience of system design, strategic operations, or enablement roles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Information Technology (IT) and Crop insurance is essential.
  • Deep experience to improve ease of doing business for Agents
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and program management skills.
  • Proven ability to drive results across complex, cross-functional environments.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Your pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience. We follow local laws to ensure fair compensation. You may also be eligible for bonuses and merit increases. The pay range shown is a national average and may vary by location. The proposed Salary range for this position is between $115,200 and $165,000, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 20%.
