The Oasis at Death Valley is situated in a lush, spring-fed desert oasis, surrounded by the vast and arid desert of Death Valley National Park. The Oasis operates the historic AAA Four Diamond Inn and Ranch, restaurants, gift shops, and the world's lowest elevation golf course. Both hotels are open year-round and feature swimming pools fed by naturally warm local springs.

Job Summary:Join our Oasis team as a Housekeeper at our luxury resort! You'll help create a fresh, welcoming environment for guests by keeping rooms and common areas spotless and responding to guest needs with a positive attitude. If you're detail-oriented, enjoy working on a team, and want to make a real impact on someone's stay, we'd love to have you join us!

The Details:Position Type: Full-time year-round or Seasonal

Start Dates: As soon as possible on next available check in date (approximately three weeks)

Pay: $17.65/hrSchedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (will include weekends, evenings, and holidays). During high business volume this position may require overtime.

Responsibilities
  • Provide our guests with the best in service, courtesy, and care.
  • Clean and prepare guest rooms to time and cleanliness standards including changing bed sheets, cleaning bathrooms, etc.
  • Follow all procedures for chemical use and room cleaning systems.
  • Maintain Housekeeping cart and related equipment such as vacuums and mops
  • Work safely to avoid injuries and accidents including wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Assist with maintaining linen room cleanliness.
  • Learn about location and hours to be able to assist guests with their questions.
Qualifications
  • Must be able to work independently.  
  • Must be available for AM and PM shifts. 

Physical Requirements include:

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to bend, push, pull, kneel, lift and stand for extended periods of time. 
  • Must be able to work in extreme temperatures.
