JOB SUMMARY
The Valet Supervisor at Caravan Court oversees all valet parking operations while always ensuring safety and efficiency. This role supports the Valet Manager with daily operations and oversight.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & FUNCTIONS
  • Operational Responsibilities
    • Greet guests according hotel standards
    • Register all vehicles in parking platform
    • Communicate the valet process to the guest
    • Assist guests with any luggage and directional needs
    • Professionally and efficiently park guest vehicles
    • Ensure staffing is sufficient
    • Monitor overtime and address as needed
    • Service and maintain valet transport shuttles
    • Plan and facilitate department meetings
    • Assist in department training
  • Guest Services
    • Anticipate and attend to guest needs during interactions
    • Be proactive when attending to guests
    • Assist guests with all concierge services
  • Team Support and Training
    • Attend and contribute to department meetings
    • Participate in cross training
    • Complete all required trainings
  • Communication and Reporting
    • Facilitate all internal communications and follow up accordingly
    • Run all reports necessary to the operation
    • Complete full shift pass on reports and checklists
    • Log all work in appropriate platforms
  • Safety & Compliance
    • Adhere to all safety and security guidelines
    • Follow all driving regulations

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective time management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well with a team and demonstrate attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal abilities

Physical Requirements
  • Sitting: Short periods of time
  • Standing/Walking: Long periods of standing, minimum of 5 consecutive hours
  • Lifting/Carrying: Occasionally, maximum of 50 pounds. Pushing/ Pulling carts

Working Environment
  • Interior: Hallways, Guestrooms
  • Exterior: Outdoor areas of the hotel

BASICS
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas
  • Display courteous behavior with guests and team members
  • Report any unsafe conditions immediately
  • Ensure hotel equipment is in proper working condition
