At Volvo Cars Midlothian Service Center you enjoy the simple pleasures of our amazing little town, where people look after each other. That is what our Volvo service specials are designed to do. Preventative maintenance stops more serious car repair problems from developing, saving our customer time, money, and hassle. Here is some of what we offer: oil changes, a tire center, battery repair, brake repair, wiper blades, power steering flush, transmission service, etc.

About the Role:

We are seeking experienced, full-time Automotive Technicians to join the Haley Volvo Midlothian team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. You will work closely with other team members to provide high-quality service to our customers. Your expertise and attention to detail will be critical in ensuring the safety and reliability of our customers' vehicles.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience as an Automotive Technician
  • Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid and clean driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Automotive Technology
  • Master Mechanic **
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification
  • Certification with Volvo, Toyota, GM, Ford, or CDJR
  • State Inspection License
  • Experience with computer diagnostic systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities:

  • Performing diagnostic tests on vehicles to identity problems
  • Repairing or replacing parts as needed
  • Maintaining accurate records of all repairs and services performed
