We are seeking experienced Technicians to join our growing team at Chapman Ford of Columbia. Requirements:

  • Automotive dealership experience preferred.
  • Ford experience is a plus
  • PA Emission/Inspection License required
  • Valid Driver's License with no major violations within the past 3 years

Responsibilities:

  • Receives repair orders from dispatcher and takes to stall area.
  • Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficient and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
  • Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and perform appropriate repair.
  • Documents work performed and reason for failure of component.
  • Attends factory-sponsored training classes.
  • Keeps shop area neat and clean and be able to account for all dealership-owned tool at all times.
  • Understands and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the use and storage of chemicals and disposal of hazardous wastes.
  • Road-test vehicles to quality-check work performed.
