Body Shop Technician

Key Responsibilities
As a Body Shop Technician, you will play a key role in restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition with precision and efficiency. Your duties will include:
  • Vehicle Repairs:
    • Perform bodywork, including dent repair, welding, and panel replacement.
    • Conduct repairs according to OEM standards and repair plans.
    • Install and align replacement parts and components.
  • Painting Preparation:
    • Sand, mask, and prepare vehicles for paint.
    • Assist painters with priming and finishing tasks.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Conduct post-repair inspections to ensure work meets quality and safety standards.
    • Maintain high attention to detail for guest satisfaction.
  • Shop Maintenance:
    • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
    • Ensure tools and equipment are in good working order.

Schedule: Day-Day 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
Pay: Hourly pay based on experience. Earning potential exceeding $100,000/year for A-Level technicians.
Qualifications
  • Automotive body repair experience and/or degree from accredited technical college is required
  • I-Car Training preferred
  • Valid driver's license with a reputable record is required
  • Previous experience in collision repair or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of body repair techniques, tools, and materials.
  • Ability to read and follow repair orders and work with repair plans.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to providing excellent guest service.
  • Team player with effective communication skills.
