The Opportunity

As the Pursuit Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Be responsible for management (preparation, assembly, review, and submittal) of responses to Request for Proposals (RFP)
  • Have assigned proposals that may range from small to medium scope and generally have low to medium risk profiles
Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for management (preparation, assembly, review, and submittal) of responses to Request for Proposals (RFP) in accordance with governance
  • Assigned proposals may range from small to medium scope and generally have low to medium risk profiles
  • Typically, this pursuit manager has a primary solution they focus on to build the needed competencies for advancement. This professional interfaces directly with and provides support to the sales manager, the project director, and the project manager to set the proposal execution strategy / schedule, assemble proposal response team, and develop the project execution plan and value proposition / win strategies.
  • Ensure conceptual design and business enablement functional teams (estimating, project controls, construction, procurement, subcontracts, LIFTT) are held accountable to provide deliverables in accordance with proposal development schedule
  • Monitors and manages pursuit team expenditures to align with approved budgets
  • Participate in cost review
  • Facilitate risk determination / mitigation and leadership approval discussions
  • Assist in negotiations as requested
  • Facilitate discussion and actions to transition proposal basis information to the project execution team upon contract signature.
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical project execution field.

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • 4+ years of engineering, project execution or technical pursuit management experience
