Location: Marietta GA
What You Will Be Doing
International Business Development Capture Management Principal - Europe is responsible for leading Capture efforts for C-130 efforts for the Air Mobility and Maritime Missions (AMMM) Line of Business for the LM's Aeronautics Business Area.
The International Business Development Capture Manager - Europe plays a critical role in shaping Aeronautics growth and keep sold activities across one of the most strategically important regions in the world. In this role, you will lead new business campaigns, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and develop competitive strategies and campaigns that position Lockheed Martin Aeronautics for long-term success. You will serve as a trusted advisor to customers, internal partners, and senior leadership while representing Aeronautics across each assigned effort.
Leads capture efforts to secure new or re-compete contracts, or task order business. Has accountability to shape and win new business through a balanced focus on customer value, the competitive environment, and the corporation's best interests. Builds and sustains strategic relationships with U.S. and Allied stakeholders, including government, military and industry leaders. Develops capture strategy including business solutions for capture of opportunities; identifies potential customers, competitive assessments, teaming suppliers, and prices-to-win; participates in bid and proposal activities. Has responsibility to lead and integrate the assigned cross-functional team and authority to direct team activities for the duration of the campaign. Maintains ongoing interaction with business development.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Aeronautics new business campaigns throughout the European Union, specifically Italy, Poland, Denmark, Norway, Switzerland and other interested countries.
Shape and position Aeronautics to win new business by balancing customer value, competitive dynamics, and corporate objectives.
Develop capture strategies, including business solutions, stakeholder engagement plans, competitive assessments, teaming approaches, and price-to-win analyses.
Support and participate in bid and proposal activities across the campaign lifecycle.
Coordinate across Business Areas to ensure a unified One LM approach in capturing new business.
Assists with Communications to shape articles, media messaging, and campaign materials that reinforced a consistent, compelling narrative for the C-130 aircraft across area of responsibility.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, government officials, partners, and stakeholders throughout Europe.
Represent Aeronautics internationally including extensive international travel
