Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer - Wiring Harness with strong expertise in automotive, marine, or off-highway domains. The role involves harness design, reverse engineering, schematic interpretation, and support for alternate sourcing and supplier coordination.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform reverse engineering of wiring harnesses, including schematic analysis and routing validation
  • Develop and review electrical harness drawings and schematics
  • Capture and document technical specifications of harness systems and components
  • Ensure adherence to wiring standards and industry design practices
  • Support sourcing team with technical evaluation of supplier proposals and alternate components
  • Provide inputs for alternate sourcing strategies while maintaining quality and performance
  • Collaborate with suppliers for compliance with design and manufacturing standards
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and procurement
  • Resolve technical issues related to harness design and integration
Required Skills
  • Strong experience in automotive, marine, or off-highway domains
