About the Role
As a Per Diem Pharmacist, you will play an essential role in supporting our operations team. Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Manage the transfers of new and existing prescriptions between pharmacies and use multiple computer systems to enter prescriptions and communicate with patients
  • Translate prescriptions provided by the prescriber via phone and enter information in the patient's profile in accordance with state regulations
  • Verify the accuracy of prescriptions, ensuring they meet all legal, regulatory, and quality standards.
  • Master our internal systems: develop full operational knowledge and understanding of the pharmacy and manage internal and external pharmacy operations (including communications with physicians and insurers)

Requirements
  • You have 1-2+ years of relevant pharmacy experience, including prescription processing, inventory management, and customer inquiries
  • You hold a valid Pharmacist License in the State of New York or New Jersey and must reside in NY or NJ.
  • You are ready to work as required to provide coverage for any unplanned absences, days off, or scheduled time off and are interested in full-time employment with Capsule
  • You are a recent graduate with retail pharmacy experience
  • Flexibility to work a dynamic schedule, including morning/evening shifts, and weekends.Per Diem Hours - shifts ranging from 6 to 10 hours throughout the week.
    Monday to Friday 8:00am to 9:00pm, Sat & Sun 8:00am to 8:30pm
    (Please note, this is an in-person position). Please note this position is in person at our pharmacy.
