Pharmacy Delivery Courier (Biker/Driver) - New YorkAbout Capsule

Capsule is a pharmacy built around people. Our couriers play a critical role in delivering medication directly to customers and supporting their care. Are you tired of the uncertainty of the gig economy? We believe our couriers are essential team members, not independent contractors. Thats why we offer a W-2 employment model built on stability, respect, and a truly competitive compensation package.

What we offer
  • Guaranteed Pay - Stable schedules: You are paid for your full scheduled shift - even if deliveries finish early.
    • Couriers who complete their full scheduled week earn $10 incentive pay per extra shift worked that period.
  • Applicable Reimbursement (Drivers only): We reimburse toll/mileage that you may incur during your work shift to help cover gas, maintenance, and vehicle wear
  • W2 Employment (Not Gig Work): As a W2 employee, you receive:
    • Workers compensation coverage
    • Unemployment insurance eligibility
    • Stability and legal protections of direct employment
    • Paid Training: Well provide you with the training and tools you need to succeed.
    • Team Support: Youre part of a dedicated team with dispatchers and support staff ready to help.
  • Work with Purpose: You are not delivering food or retail products. Your work directly supports peoples health.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S. You will be required to provide proof of work eligibility before we consider hire
  • Must have access to a smart phone with app capability and functioning camera for scanning delivered packages
  • Must be able to lift/carry packages up to 20 lbs, including frequent stair climbing.
  • Skill in navigating high-traffic city environments and varied road surfaces safely and efficiently using GPS and delivery tech.
  • Comfort working outdoors in all conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and heavy rain, while maintaining a consistent pace.
  • Must be able to read, speak, and write in English with fluency.
  • If applying for a Driver position, Drivers:
    • Must have access to a vehicle with an active auto insurance - this is not provided by Capsule
    • Must have a valid and unexpired driver license
  • If applying for a Biker position, Bikers:
    • Must have access to a bicycle that meets state safety requirements
    • Must be available to work at the shifts indicated below

  • Fixed Weekly Schedules: Secure a consistent, recurring schedule from day one. Your core shifts stay the same week-over-week, providing the stability of guaranteed earnings and a routine you can count on.
  • Flexible Add-ons: Once your set schedule is established, you can pick up extra shifts throughout the week as they become available
  • Shift Times: Core shifts are 4 hours, with the option to pick up additional shifts.
    • Morning, Afternoon, and Evening blocks.
    • Weekday shifts
    • Weekend shifts
  • Available Areas:
    • Manhattan: Downtown & Uptown
    • Brooklyn: North, South, & East/Queens
    • The Bronx, Westchester, & NJ/Staten Island
