Salary Range: $102,100 - $112,900 plus annual bonus
Location: Ada, MI
*Note: This position is a hybrid remote/office role, and you must be available to report in-person to Ada from Monday-Thursday as part of our collaboration days*
What do we need:
The Nutrilite Spaulding Plant is a world-class manufacturer of softgels, tablets, two-piece capsules, and a variety of packaging formats including bottles, cartons, pouches, sticks, and sachets for Amway's Nutrilite Brand of products. This state-of-the-art facility is experiencing significant growth with the expansion of tablet and capsule manufacturing supporting the Fusion project. Over the next year, Solid Dose Manufacturing (SDM) will nearly triple their production output as part of NSP, the largest manufacturing site in the US. To support this aggressive growth, we need to grow our SDM team!
This Group Leader will have night shift responsibility in Solid Dose Manufacturing and will lead a team of 10-20 employees who work 4x10's, Monday - Thursday. Working hours will be flexible, with most hours typically between 2:00pm - 10:00pm.

As a Group Leader, you will oversee the day-to-day work of your team. In addition to leading them, you will also work on future growth opportunities for the plant. As the Group Leader, you will oversee the day-to-day work of your production team, equipment, and processes while coaching & supporting your team. You will also provide training, motivation, and feedback to team members.
You will be responsible for shift assignments, staffing, maintaining performance standards, conducting performance reviews, and setting the example for model team behaviors. From an operational standpoint, you will focus on providing a safe work environment that delivers quality products. The passion for leadership you bring to this plant will allow you to demonstrate transformative results in a dynamic work environment. You will be the leader of an exciting team and responsible for solving problems to deliver highly impactful operational results.
Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience, in either a formal or informal setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor, provide feedback, and handle conflict management

Skills to be successful in the role:
  • Prior experience within food, dietary supplement or drug production environment
  • Prior experience leading a project or making a positive impact to a business result
  • Ability to work with cross functional partners
  • Proficient with MS Office, and having the ability to pick up ERP systems, including JDE and dcLink
