JOB SUMMARY
The Program Implementation Specialist plays an integral role in the timely and successful implementation of new Pharmaceutical and Payor Solutions by collaborating closely with cross-functional BSRx teams, including but not limited to, Pharmaceutical and Payor Solutions, Pharmacy, and DEX. This role is responsible for coordinating activities related to program launches within defined scope and timelines, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements set by Bayshore and its customers. The Program Implementation Specialist supports project execution by documenting and tracking progress, maintaining project plans, collaborating with stakeholders on implementation setup, and contributing to the development and distribution of status updates. Additionally, the role supports scope and change management by assessing the impact of changes on timelines and resources, and contributes to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of new programs to ensure they reflect clinical best practices, meet established standards, and align with customer-specific needs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute all implementation activities for new program launches into Bayshore Specialty Rx
Coordinate and support the transition of inbound and outbound Patient Support programs to and from Bayshore.
Document project requirements and leverage project management tools (such as Gantt charts, risk logs, and status reports) to support in project planning and execution.
Lead and coordinate setup of program infrastructure, such as securing program phone/fax, program email, requests for CRM setup, development of program workflows etc.
Provide support to internal teams and customers during the program implementation process.
Track project progress, resolve issues, and initiate corrective actions as required and manage expectations and escalated risks appropriately
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement new business across multiple teams.
Develop and maintain all program related documentation SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), Work instructions, Forms, SOWs (Statement of Work), and process flows as part of the program implementation.
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with all project stakeholders.
May be required to travel to attend in-person client meetings and other business-related activities, as needed.
Manage expectations across key internal and external stakeholders of the project.
Proactively identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks across the transition lifecycle to ensure adherence to timelines and budget. 
Prepare and deliver status updates on implementation and transition progress to internal and client management teams at defined intervals, ensuring effective governance and timely issue resolution. Point of contact to front line staff as well as supporting business units on the program implementation. 
Contribute to organizational knowledge and best practices across program planning, launch, and implementation through the development and continuous improvement of processes and documentation. 
Act as a subject matter resource by understanding research related to new products as part of the business development and RFP cycle. 
Collaborate with BSRx stakeholders under Pharmacy, and the Clinical/Quality team, and other teams as required, to understand the process implications of a products requirements for Patient Support programs.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required, with a preference for STEM-related disciplines.
Preference will be given to applicants with CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) or PMP (Project Management Professional) designations.
Experience 
Minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience in the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry.
Experience launching new patient support programs (medium and large) within a Heath Care Organization.
Proven customer relationship and/or account management skills with direct client interaction.
Experience in Change Management.
Extensive experience working with clinical teams to develop and implement new solutions and processes.
Experience with and an understanding a variety of roles within a Patient Support Program, Specialty Pharmacy, Reimbursement Services.
Must maintain relevant level of knowledge of ICH (International Conference on Harmonization) GCP (Good Clinical Practice) and Health Canada GVP (Good Pharmacovigilance Practices) guidelines as applicable to patient program development
