How we LEAD:
Capitol Christian Music Group ("CCMG") is seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial leader to drive the next phase of growth for our artist and catalog businesses. The Senior Director, Commercial Strategy & Partnerships will lead the development of innovative commercial partnerships and monetization strategies that expand the reach and revenue potential of the company's artists and repertoire. Sitting at the intersection of distribution, digital strategy, catalog development, and direct-to-consumer commerce, this role partners cross-functionally to identify new opportunities, build impactful partnerships, and unlock sustainable growth across streaming, retail, and emerging platforms.
How you'll CREATE:
Distribution Partnerships & Business Development
  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new distribution and commercial partnerships that expand the company's reach and revenue opportunities.
  • Lead the full distribution partnership lifecycle including partner sourcing, pitching, deal development & negotiation, onboarding, performance management.
  • Serve as the primary partner contact and relationship owner with each distribution partner, label, or artist.
  • Collaborate with legal, finance, and operational teams to structure partnerships that support long-term growth and profitability.

Catalog Monetization & Digital Strategy
  • Lead the development of high-impact catalog monetization initiatives focused on priority artists and repertoire with the greatest long-term commercial potential.
  • Identify and develop strategic opportunities to reintroduce and monetize catalog assets through productization: anniversary campaigns, deluxe releases, vinyl and collector products or boxed sets, compilations, and new versions of key catalog (AI-powered).
  • Leverage streaming, social, and audience data to identify catalog resurgence signals and partner with Marketing teams to activate campaigns that capitalize on emerging fan engagement.
  • Collaborate with DSP team to secure editorial support, programming opportunities, and strategic activations that drive sustained discovery and consumption of catalog repertoire.

Additional Responsibilities Include:
  • Active role in contributing to our D2C strategy related to physical and retail channels, in partnership with Famehouse (UMG D2C division)
  • Partner closely with CCMG Data & Insights function to elevate ways in which we use consumption, audience, and revenue data to identify growth opportunities
  • Serve as strategic partner and center of excellence for internal stakeholders to create alignment and momentum around commercial initiatives
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
