Job description

The Haul Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating a commercial vehicle. This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb on or off trucks at various points throughout the day as well as perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning truck interiors. Must be willing to work weekends and holidays when needed.
Detailed job duties include:
  • Drive trucks to and from job sites.
  • Ensure that all equipment is in good working order, including but not limited to tires, brakes, lights, etc.
  • Maintain proper safety standards for the vehicle while driving it.
  • Perform pre-trip inspection of the truck before leaving the work site and inspect the engine compartment prior to departure as needed.
  • Check fluid levels on truck during trip when necessary.
  • Report any unsafe conditions immediately to supervisor.

Qualifications
  • Must have a valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record, 3 years' experience as well as being insurable by the state
  • Ability to pass drug screening
  • Good time management skills
