Job description

Capital City Hospice serves patients and families throughout Central Ohio, many of whom are in the Pataskala, Pickerington and Whitehall areas. We are seeking volunteers to visit patients in this part of Columbus.

Volunteers bring a friendly, comforting presence to patients, sharing time, reminiscing and simply 'being there.'

We invite you to join our team of exceptional volunteers! An orientation is required, offered each month at our office (1st Wednesday, 1-4pm and 3rd Thursday, 9-noon). If you are unable to attend one of these, we are happy to meet at a location convenient for you (Starbucks, Panera, etc.). Background check, TB & drug screening, and fingerprinting are also required, at Capital City's expense.

Sharing some time with a patient makes a big difference! You may choose the patients you visit and the days/time that fit your schedule.

To register for an orientation or to learn more use this LINK, call 614.441.9300, email (cch-vc@addus.com),

We look forward to meeting you!
