Job description

On Line Design, Inc. is currently looking for a part-time Capital Project Manager. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating the execution of capital equipment for a facility expansion. You will work closely with project managers, cost controls, engineering, and facilities to ensure alignment on approved capital plans. You will lead the tracking of capital equipment projects and budgets, collaborate with cross functional teams, oversee project documentation, vendor coordination, and manage monthly and quarterly forecasts.


Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage multi-million dollar project budgets, track expenditures, and approve invoices for equipment purchases.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, within scope and are in compliance with company standards and requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and records.
  • Evaluate performance against schedules and budgets. Proactively address issues to keep capital projects on track.


Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or business
  • At least 5 years of experience in Capital Project management
  • Proficiency in MS Project
  • Experience coordinating with shipment providers for import/customs requirements
