Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking PlanningEngineerreporting toIntegrated Operations Planning Managerin Midland, Texas. This positionsupportsandmaintainsthe drill and frac schedule across the company's asset portfolio, integrating reservoir engineering, drilling and completions engineering,productionand facilities engineering,midstream and marketing,and capital planning tomaximizedevelopment value. General Responsibilities
Work withcross-functional teams to generate andoptimizethe company's drill and completion schedule
Coordinatewith operations,budgetingand planning, subsurface, land, midstream and marketing and regulatory teams to ensuretimelyand efficient execution of the capital program
Provide technicalsupportof the development plan to ensure execution stays on track whileidentifyingefficiency improvement opportunities
Drive continuous improvement in planning workflows, incorporating new data and technology to enhance planning accuracyand communication
Provide technical support onscenario analysis to evaluate different capital programs based on ever-changing constraints, targets, and economic environments
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors of Sciencein Engineering
5+ years of petroleum engineering experience in upstream oil & gas
Experience with Databricks or similar data platforms (SQL, Python) to build andmaintainplanning dashboards and analytics; familiarity with BI/visualization tools (Spotfire, Power BI, or similar)
Proficiencywith planning software (ActenumDSO,Enersight, Aries,PHDwin, etc.)
Experience applying AI/LLM tools to streamline planning, scheduling, or data analysis workflowsisa plus
Demonstrated knowledge ofmulti-disciplineprocessesand workflows
Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability tocritically thinkthroughdownstream/upstream impacts ofcomplexscenarios
Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate cross functionally
Experience in regulatory environments in New Mexicoand Texasa plus
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of petroleum engineering within operations(production, completion, drilling, facility)
