In this critical role, the Director, Finance (CAPEX) will play a key role in managing the financial aspects of Rheem's capital expenditure process. Main responsibilities include driving global standard finance processes around capital expenditure budgeting, management reporting, KPIs, forecasting and planning. Additionally, this role will provide strategic consultation and business case support to Operations, Product Management, Procurement, R&D and leadership.
Travel is estimated at 10%+ with more during onboarding, primarily domestic.
This position will serve our Rheem North America Division, located in Atlanta, GA (Hybrid). This role follows our hybrid work arrangement, with team members working in the office Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays.
Responsibilities
  • Build business cases for each CAPEX project in Rheem North America while also providing consultation for CAPEX projects globally
  • Work closely with functional teams to develop business cases and support project execution, including procurement, operations, product management, R&D, IT, legal and commercial teams
  • Manage the CAPEX budget and track all CAPEX spend globally
  • Review key strategic projects to confirm performance against the business case
  • Ensure accountability by owners to their plan
  • Ensure accurate, timely and consistent monthly reporting of CAPEX
  • Manage CAPEX forecasts for Rheem North America and consolidate CAPEX forecasts globally
  • Promote FP&A best practices across global business units
  • Support Rheem North America ad-hoc financial analyses

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field of study
  • Advanced degree or certification, like MBA or CPA, preferred
  • Minimum of 10+ years of finance experience with increasing functional responsibilities
  • Experience working in a complex, global manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, with high level of attention to details and accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with others in a matrix environment
  • Ability to thoughtfully challenge assumptions and drive accountability for performance against plan
  • Ability to enable organization and drive solutions
  • Strong financial and analytical skills as well as business acumen
  • Strong change management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to understand, analyze and articulate business process improvement opportunities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage internal and external relationships
