Job Title: Project Manager – Pharmaceutical CAPEX Projects

Location: Richmond, VA (100% Onsite)

Contract Duration: 12+ Months (Potential Extension up to 3+ Years)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support large-scale capital projects within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role will focus on driving execution, coordination, and delivery of CAPEX initiatives ranging from $10M–$25M while partnering with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will bring strong project management experience within GMP-regulated environments and the ability to lead projects in fast-paced manufacturing and expansion settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage execution of pharmaceutical CAPEX projects ranging from $10M–$25M
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, deliverables, and resource coordination
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Validation, QA, Manufacturing, and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery
  • Support site expansion and facility improvement initiatives within GMP-regulated operations
  • Track project milestones, identify risks, and escalate issues as needed
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, quality, and regulatory standards throughout project execution
  • Drive cross-functional communication and stakeholder alignment
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational and project efficiency

Required Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years of Project Management experience within pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated environments
  • Proven experience managing mid-to-large scale CAPEX projects ($10M–$25M)
