Job description

Cape Fox Lodge is seeking a conscientious Dishwasher to join the kitchen staff and maintain cleanliness around the Heen Kahidi restaurant. This position offers a great opportunity to start a career in the restaurant industry and be part of the behind-the-scenes operations. Note that this role requires working in shifts and occasionally during evenings or weekends.

The hourly rate for this position has been established at $16. The above rate represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting. This job will be posted until filled or withdrawn.

Duties and responsibilities include: Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas Load and unload dishwashing machines Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots and delicate china) Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment Set up workstations before meal prep begins Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) and place orders when necessary Check washing machines' operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues Remove garbage regularly Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floorHigh school diploma is a plus Work experience as a Dishwasher preferred Hands-on experience with industrial washing machines preferred Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks Time management skills Attention to detail and sanitation rules Availability to work in shifts, during weekends and evenings Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship Cape Fox Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates provide equal employment opportunities to all persons and prohibit employment decisions on the basis of race, religion, color, creed, national origin, sex, age, disability, political affiliation, protected veteran status, or sexual orientation
