Anesthesiologist Opportunity

Anesthesiologist opportunity with thriving anesthesia practice in Fayetteville, NC, at robust facility, Cape Fear Medical Center. New Compensation just announced!

Cape Fear Valley Medical Center located in Fayetteville, NC, is part of Cape Fear Valley Health System, which serves communities throughout southeastern North Carolina. The private, nonprofit healthcare system is North Carolina's eighth-largest health network. Facilities include Betsy Johnson Hospital, Bladen County Hospital, Central Harnett Hospital, Highsmith-Rainey Specialty Hospital, and Hoke Hospital. The system also encompasses Behavioral Health Services of Cape Fear Valley, the Cape Fear Valley Rehabilitation Center, and several medical clinics and offices in the region. Annually, it serves approximately 1 million patients.

Requirements:

  • Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department.
  • Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures.
  • Pre-anesthesia assessment.
  • Obtains and/or verifies patient consent.
  • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient.
  • Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
  • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition.
  • Performance of clinical intervention as needed.

Requirements:

  • M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine.
  • ECFMG and FLEX.
  • Completion of approved residency in anesthesia.
  • Currently licensed as a physician.
